De MCU leest deze analoge metingen voortdurend uit en interpreteert de werkingsstatus van de module in real time.<br>Deze functie is in overeenstemming met <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/resourceslp.szlogic.cn\/nl\/knowledge-center\/sfp-8472-standard-explained-ddm-for-optical-transceivers\/\">de SFF-8472-normen<\/a> voor digitale diagnosebewaking (DOM), wat de transparantie van de module en de systeemveiligheid verbetert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">b) Besturing van de laser en veiligheidsmechanismen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Binnen LINK-PP-modules\u2014of deze nu gebruikmaken van <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/resourceslp.szlogic.cn\/nl\/glossary\/fabry-perot-laser-diodes-in-optical-modules\/\">FP-lasers<\/a> of gekoelde <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/resourceslp.szlogic.cn\/nl\/glossary\/eml-laser-diodes-explained-for-optical-modules\/\">EML-lasers<\/a>\u2014past de MCU het laseruitgangsvermogen aan en handhaaft Class-I-veiligheidsnormen. Het regelt het laservermogen en activeert beschermingsmaatregelen indien parameters buiten veilige grenzen komen.<br>Voor gevoelige fotodioden kan de MCU ook stroommeetfeedbacklussen gebruiken om stabiele werking te waarborgen, wat vooral kritiek is in modules met hoge snelheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">c) Communicatie-interface via I\u00b2C<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MCU\u2019s vervullen een dubbele I\u00b2C-functie: \u00e9\u00e9n interface communiceert naar boven met het host-systeem (bijv. switches of routers), terwijl de andere interface met interne analoge front-endcircuits communiceert.
